Exploring Color at the Edge

Updated: Aug 11

MKThink is about exploration and placemaking at the Edge. To interpret this through the use of color, this exploration starts with images of Life at the Edge from Ocean Beach, San Francisco in different environments and times of day. These impressions are translated into creative palettes informed by the pixels taken from these photographs.

Here is an example of how this was achieved:

The palettes are then interpreted by shade, transparency and hue into visual representative threads to express moods of our communities environmental edge.

We would love to hear how you respond to these moods.

Feedback is welcome here or at office@mkthink.com
