MKThink was founded in 2000 and has delivered technology-driven strategy, design and innovation projects for high performance institutions like Stanford University, Fannie Mae, the US Office of Naval Research, and WeWork to name a few.  MKThink pioneered the concept of ‘spatial intelligence’ to measure, quantify and analyze the performance of people, place and environment. This practice draws data from multiple sources and connects this data within a relational database to answer questions such as how healthy are west-facing spaces between the hours of 10am-12pm daily? What are the attributes of spaces that lead to high student performance during science classes? These types of questions are the future of data-driven strategy and design. They are made possible, in part, by the innovations that MKThink has made in easy-to-deploy sensor and database management technologies over the years.
