A member of the MKThink team since 2013, Juan's experience compliments his diverse technical and professional skillset to foster community, connection, and efficiency through design. He is a licensed architect and has innovated and adapted solution-oriented frameworks that build community strength, healthy places, and learning outcomes. His work has guided the renovation of functionally outdated lecture halls into state-of-the-art educational community hubs and coordinated the realization of a network of collaborative office spaces across the West Coast that met client standards and fit diverse user and location needs. As Senior Project Architect, Juan focuses on building connections through the technical design of architectural assemblies, coordinating and communicating between owners, contractors, and teams, and negotiations across municipalities. His favorite part about MKThink is working with the team, raising individuals by harnessing their diverse skill sets, and creating a collaborative, solution-driven environment that champions success.
