CROWN QUAD MODERNIZATION
A state-of-the-art facility befitting of a top-tier law school
MKThink Future Forward Plan called for renovating the 1970s Crown Building into a vibrant, state-of-the-art center of learning, research, and interaction on campus, befitting the Law School’s world-class reputation. Completed during the 10-week summer break, the modernized Crown Quad features 16 classrooms, legal clinics, and a moot courtroom. MKThink transformed the 35,000-SF Law Library from one dominated by the storage of books into one optimized for research, group, and independent study. The Law Library is now considered one of the best places to study on campus; usage has increased from 60 students per day to 1000.
