VISIONING STANFORD GRADUATE SCHOOL OF EDUCATION

Creating healthy and productive environments for the school’s students, faculty, and staff

MKThink developed a Facilities Vision and Strategic Plan in partnership with the The Stanford Graduate School of Education. This effort advanced the GSE’s strategic and institutional master plans, guide the future organizational and physical evolution of the campus, and, ultimately, create healthy and productive environments for the school’s students, faculty and staff. The team’s approach was to provide an unbiased data-driven assessment of relevant data synthesized with cultural and observational findings gathered during onsite investigations and meetings with stakeholders.

CHALLENGE: To develop a Facilities Vision and Strategic Plan in partnership with Stanford's Graduate School of Education.

RESULT: The team assessed the school's existing inventory at both the building and room scale and mapped how the school's user groups occupied and moved through the space in order to develop a Facilities Vision and Strategic Plan.
