Just because we invite people, it doesn’t mean they will feel safe enough to come.

We propose advancing San Francisco’s Fisherman’s Wharf into a district that people will have confidence to come to early in the opening process. And after they experience the Wharf, will feel even more confident to return.

The means is to plan and implement the healthiest public place in San Francisco for all. In the grand tradition of The Bay Area, we will take the iconic Fisherman’s Wharf and transform it into an oasis of our best applied thinking, practices, innovation and technology to create a successful community focused commercial and visitor venue.

This will manifest in an event called All Healthy, Together Again which will be a 30-day period as soon as approved by The City and Public Health. In addition to food & beverage and retail opportunities, we will have daily and evening quintessential programming and healthy communications to encourage demand and participation. It is our expectation that this will be a first step in bringing San Francisco’s urban public places back together safely. This will also provide key learnings for how successful management and monitoring for health may extend to other neighborhoods and large-scale gathering places.

With the combination of (high and low tech) planning, solutions and dynamic response, we expect the whole world to be watching and impressed by San Francisco’s Fisherman’s Wharf return to action.
